Case filed against BJP candidate for checking Muslim voters' ID cards, asking them to lift burqa
In a shocking event in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, a family dispute led to a fatal scene when a wife allegedly killed her husband over disagreements regarding wedding gifts. The incident occurred when 35-year-old Chandra Prakash Mishra got into a heated argument with his wife, Shama Bajpai, on Tuesday.
The disagreement reportedly stemmed from Mishra's intention to gift a gold ring and an LCD TV to his sister on her wedding. The discontent wife opposed this decision of her husband and called her brothers and cousins to "teach Chandra Prakash a lesson," leading to a brutal assault on her husband.
Chandra Prakash was hit on his head with a brick leading to a severe injury. Despite quick medical attention, he died.
Five individuals, including Shama and her brothers, have been arrested after Mishra's death.
